Why You Should Invest in Malaysia!

Malaysia

Malaysia has emerged as one of the biggest and strongest business hubs not only in Asia but in the world. More and more people and businesses are moving to the country and either starting or expanding their empires.

Whether you want to start a business, invest, or simply trade forex on the Malaysian markets, this is one country that should definitely have your attention.

Growing Economy

While Malaysia has had a strong economy for a while, it is now climbing the heights and becoming an economic powerhouse. Every market, from tech to medicine, industry, rubber and everything in between, has seen tremendous growth over the past 20+ years.

No matter which sphere of business you are in, Malaysia has made it clear that it is the country to invest in if you want a foothold in East Asia.

Politically Stable

Compared to most countries, Malaysia is politically relatively stable. This, in turn, means the economy stays stable, which is always suitable for businesses and investors. The US, the UK, and many countries across Africa are proof of how an economy can be a rollercoaster if the right people aren’t running the country.

Many people tend to underestimate just how powerful a country can become simply by being well-run and remaining focused on providing the best for its citizens and foreign visitors, and employees.

Infrastructure

Malaysia has taken a page out of Dubai’s book over the past couple of decades. There has been tremendous infrastructure growth and expansion, which has transformed the country. Kuala Lumpur’s skyline is now packed with skyscrapers, high-rises, and offices.

It is also the rate at which they are expanding and creating factories that are appealing to investors, as it seems like things are only getting bigger and better.

Easy to do Business

It is very easy to create and do business in Malaysia. There are fewer hoops to jump through, and you can go from nothing to a fully-fledged entity in very little time compared to most of the world.

This gives investors peace of mind when starting a company in the country, and the combination of proper business practices with less red tape is hard to turn down.

Highly Skilled Workforce

Malaysia’s workforce is one of the most skilled in the world. Much like in Japan, China, and South Korea, education is taken very seriously from a young age. Most people have a skill that is needed, and the people are also very adaptable.

Again, like most of the East, employees have a very high sense of pride in their work, meaning they are not only very capable but driven as well.

Livability

Not only is Malaysia great for business, but it is also a great place to live. The majority of the big cities, especially Kuala Lumpur, are very advanced, crime is relatively low, living conditions are good, and there is beautiful weather all year.

While it is very busy and there are a lot of people, living in Malaysia is still a good idea and not a bad choice for investors and business owners to live while settling in the East.

Massive E-Commerce Market

Malaysia and Asia as a whole are one of the biggest, if not the most significant, regions for e-commerce. Billions are spent every year in online shops, and considering this is the type of world we are living in, investors and business owners want to know they will flourish online.

This large e-commerce market also makes it easier for new companies and businesses that may not have local factories yet, as they can simply set up shipping. For many, this is much cheaper than setting up brand-new facilities across the country.

Worldwide Popularity & Appeal

One of the biggest draws of Malaysia is how popular it is now with Western tourists and businesses. For a long time, South Korea, Japan, China, and Hong Kong were the four main areas of operation for Western companies.

Nowadays, those borders have expanded, and countries such as Malaysia and Singapore are leading the charge. Both countries have fully embraced some Western ways of life and also have a Western perspective on business, something that helps make doing business far easier.
