Renewable Energy: Exciting Ways it is Advancing!

Renewable Energy

Renewable energy is becoming a real competitor for more conventional sources of energy, and this is partly thanks to the great advancements in technology over the past few years or so.

As the technology with renewable energy continues to improve, it means that renewable energy sources are more accessible to people as they are becoming more affordable in various different forms.

This is great news for the industry, users and the planet. But what are some of the advancements in renewable energy that have made an impact? That’s what we’re going to take a look at in this article, read on below.

Solar Panel Updates

One of the most commonly found technologies for generating renewable energy are solar panels, powered by sunlight. They are becoming more resilient, easier to construct, and all-round better for consumers to use. They now extend beyond just rooftops – solar panels can even float on water with new technology called floatovoltaics.

This is an exciting time for solar technology as panels are no longer simply an add on feature of buildings. Now, some architecture is created with solar power in mind, as there are new built-in solar systems integrated with the design, in a more aesthetically pleasing fashion than ever before.

Having a look at this renewable energy deal tracker, we can see that solar, as well as other renewable energy resources definitely aren’t slowing down. All over the world, renewable energy projects are being set up. This gives us a more hopeful outlook for the future of sustainability.

Popularity of The Electric Car

Did you know that the original electric car first hit the streets in the 1800s? Not anything like the Teslas we know of today but the concept of electric vehicles is one that has been around for many years.

However, with technological advancements in the auto shipping industry, as well as a need for more eco-friendly fuel options, EVs are something that we’re sure to be seeing much more of over the next few years. There is a high risk of fossil fuels becoming more expensive and unavailable, which is partly the reason many countries are trying to focus on the switch to electric options that can be charged by renewable energy.

Charging your car from the comfort of your own home, with energy generated by sunlight, is a relatively new phenomenon and one that is only getting better. Charging options are becoming faster – it’s also more common to find charging points on the streets and in car parks, whilst the cars themselves are becoming more advanced and desirable.

There is a huge demand for these kinds of vehicles, so we are sure to see some great surges in new options available to the public soon.

Increasing Offshore Wind Turbines

Wind turbines are popping up more and more on coasts across the world – and for good reason. They pick up energy from wind power that can then be used to generate energy without impacting landscapes.

This type of renewable energy type has created a number of jobs, and as the turbines are far away from the public, they are not in any way disruptive. This is another hopeful way of gaining sustainable energy in the future.
